Pope Benedict's Transits for the end of the year show an opposition from Saturn in the 8th house to his Natal Sun in Aries. As we know, the Pope suffered a stroke some years ago and these transits could well herald another one since Aries rule the head in Astrology. Should this be the case, we can recall Saint Malachy's Pope prophecy (click to read) that claims the current Pope is the penultimate ruler of the Catholic Church. Should this prove accurate, there is only one more Pope to go... What does it mean?

Here is the transit chart for the explosion event, almost on the birth day of the rig.

Here are the transits and progressions for the Saturn-Mars conjunction (31s July 2010). The Radix Sun caught in the Cardinal climax and the progressed Moon exactly conjunct Radix Uranus tends to indicate a sudden change in the unfolding drama.

Here is the event chart of the Deepwater Horizon rig explosion as well as the Astro*Carto*Graphy map. We can clearly see Saturn on the MC and Uranus on the I.C at the time of the explosion. Many scientists are surprised as well as disturbed by the huge amount of methane gas released by the deep underwater well that have been measured to be 1 million times above normal levels. All this oil and gas escaping into the sea must leave a space in the earth mantle and with 5,000 metres of water pressuring the sea floor, I am concerned that it could just cave in. The transit chart for July 31st shows Mars joining with Saturn, Uranus very close to the I.C and the Sun conjunct Mars in the 8th house.

TRANSIT CHART FOR 31ST JULY 2010

The Euro is making headlines daily. Here are 2 charts for the currency calculated for the moment when it became legal tender and when it was first put into circulation. The two charts are strikingly similar and emphasize the transits of Saturn and Pluto. The currency's value took a nose dive when Saturn crossed the Ascendant in October/November 2009 signaling a change in identity and the need for discipline. Pluto crossing Chiron in the 4th (in the 2nd chart) reflect the damages done to the very foundations of the currency from the debt problems and from widely exaggerated media reports and exposure temporarily distracting attention from the more fundamental problems existing with other currencies, such as the British Pound and the US Dollar. Any idea where the Euro is headed from here ?

Tension is rising on the Korean Peninsula. Can Astro*Carto*Graphy shed some light?

Here is an Astro*Carto*Graphy map of the exact forthcoming Saturn Mars conjunction (July 31, 2010). As we can see, it takes place right over China and the Pluton on the Ascendant line draws the eastern limit of a triangle that includes the Korean peninsula; the line makes a paran with the Saturn/Mars on the M.C line and closes the triangle near Jakarta. The configuration is highlighted in red, as well as the location of the Cheonan's sinking. Pluto on the Asendant there suggests a significant rebirth experience at this location... after having gone through the descent phase, of course. Given the nature of Saturn and Mars by conjunction, the descent could prove quite cruel...

The forthcomming Cardinal Climax of 2010 already contains life changing slow planets, namely: Pluto in Capricorn square Saturn in Libra and Uranus in Aries. In early June 2010, Jupiter will conjunct Uranus, and in late July-early August, Mars will join Saturn in Libra. My guess is the Saturn-Mars conjunction will be a trigger for a very striking event. This event is likely to have an element of cruelty attached to it and I consequently expect some sort of terrorist attack on a 9/11 magnitude at some point in August or September.
